Daily comments, Unit notes and Booking notes

Sweeply offers several types of comments and notes to help your housekeeping team stay organized and communicate efficiently. Each serves a different purpose and has unique visibility and duration settings.

1. Booking Notes

  • Automatically synchronized with your Property Management System (PMS).

  • Specific notes added in the PMS will appear in Sweeply.

  • Visibility depends on user permissions — if you don’t see booking notes, check your user settings.


2. Daily Comments

  • Used for quick, day-to-day communication between supervisors/front desk and housekeepers.

  • Visible only for the current day, ideal for short reminders or updates.

  • Automatically appear in the housekeeping mobile app.


3. Unit Notes

  • Stay visible until deleted.

  • Perfect for ongoing or permanent information about a specific room (e.g., “Baby crib always in this unit”).


4. Priority Rooms

  • Mark a room as high priority by clicking Set as priority in the top-left corner.

  • Highlighted rooms appear at the top of the housekeeper’s task list, ensuring they’re handled first.


5. Comments Overview

  • Access all notes and comments from the Housekeeping Overview (top-right corner).

  • Displays a summary of:

    • Daily comments

    • Booking notes

    • Unit notes

    • Extra services (availability depends on your PMS connection).
