Housekeeping view

Our Housekeeping view is designed to provide an overview of all the units in your facility, categorized into unit groups by floor, wing, etc. The view includes detailed information about the current cleaning status of each unit based on Sweeply's rules and occupancy status from your PMS if integrated. This view is designed to help you streamline your housekeeping operations and ensure all units are cleaned efficiently and effectively.

Quick Guide

Our Quick Guide includes detailed housekeeping and room status information in our app and helps you easily navigate and use our product. You can find our Quick Guide here:

To view and make changes to a unit's Housekeeping and occupancy status, you can open the unit by clicking on it. Once you have opened the unit, you can see its current Housekeeping and occupancy status. From there, you can modify the status according to your needs.

Download the Sweeply app

You can invite all the users in your organization to download our app or use our web app to manage and see the status of your daily housekeeping in real-time.

Start and Stop cleaning in the Sweeply app

In the Sweeply mobile app, housekeeping staff can see which rooms require cleaning under the housekeeping view, choose a room, and begin cleaning. Meanwhile, the front desk staff immediately sees in the web app that the room is being cleaned. Once housekeeping completes the cleaning task in the app, the front desk staff can see that the room is clean and ready for guests to check-in.

Demo:

To start cleaning Room 101, open the mobile app and select the unit/room. The unit will appear red, indicating that the room needs cleaning. Within the app, tap the play button to begin the cleaning process. Once the process is complete, tap the stop button to finish it. To confirm that the cleaning has been successful, check the housekeeping overview. It should show that Room 101 has been cleaned, and the unit's color should now be green.

Additional features in the Housekeeping view

Our Pro subscription enables you to assign Housekeeping tasks to specific employees, ensuring everyone knows what tasks they must complete daily. It also allows you to add Daily comments to bookings and Unit notes and to create multiple rules for your housekeeping tasks.

Assigning staff

You can have as many users in Sweeply as you like. Once your housekeeping status is up to date, you can start Assigning Staff to your Housekeeping units so they know what units to clean. You can Assign Staff by selecting individual units and assigning them to either one user or many users, or you can assign a whole unit group to specific users.

Once a user is assigned a housekeeping task, it will automatically appear in his App under "My Tasks," giving a clear overview of all tasks assigned to him that day.

If your Sweeply account is connected to your Property Management System (PMS), the cleaning status of each room will be automatically updated in your PMS. This allows the front desk staff to instantly know when a room is cleaned and ready for check-in.

Team workload overview

The workload overview in this view offers detailed information on each team member's tasks, such as the number of checkouts and stayovers they are assigned and the distribution of their workload across different unit groups. This comprehensive view enables efficient management of team members and their tasks, helping to ensure that the workload is evenly distributed and all tasks are completed on time.
