Daily comments, unit notes, and booking notes

With the Sweeply Pro subscription, you can access Daily Comments and Unit Notes.

Daily comments are comments that are specific to a particular unit and day. These comments are typically used by the front office staff to provide important information to housekeepers about the guest or their stay, such as special requests for double occupancy or a baby crib. The housekeeper assigned to the room will then be notified of this information.

Unit notes provide permanent instructions for a specific unit, such as remembering to close the windows or curtains.

Booking notes are notes that are synced from the PMS to Sweeply.

How to create Daily comments and Unit notes:

1. Click on a unit.

2. Scroll down to find 'Daily comments' & 'Unit notes.'

3. Once a Daily comment or a Unit note is added, an icon appears on the unit (both in the mobile and web app), indicating a comment has been added for the assigned housekeeper.

Example:

Room 104 has both a daily comment (indicated with the "D" icon) and a unit note (indicated with the note icon located below the room number). The icons appear in the room in the mobile and web app.

4. In the housekeeping view, you can see icons on the right, including a wheel icon with the letter 'D.' This icon shows daily comments. Today, there are two Daily comments, and you can view the comments by clicking on the icon.

On the mobile device, you can view all the comments made on a particular day by tapping the "D" icon in the top right corner. Additionally, you can filter the comments to show only the notes related to a specific unit or booking notes by selecting the other icons.

6. You can also use the app to add daily comments to specific rooms. For instance, if the housekeeper needs to leave notes for a particular room, they can easily do so through the app.

7. When using Sweeply, you can also add Booking notes synced from the PMS. These booking notes can serve various purposes, such as providing important housekeeping information for the cleaning staff. With this feature, you can ensure your team is always aware of special instructions or notes related to a specific booking.
