Overview of User Roles in Sweeply

Sweeply offers a range of user roles so every team member gets the right level of access. Here's a summary of each role and its permissions:

🔐 Admin

  • Full access to all features in Sweeply.

  • Can manage Settings and Reports.

Ideal for owners, general managers, or IT administrators.

🧰 House Manager

  • Access to all features except Settings.

  • Can view and export Reports.

Suitable for operational supervisors or department heads.

👤 User

  • Has access to:

    • Housekeeping overview

    • Taskboard

    • Issues

    • My Tasks

    • Camera

  • Does not have access to Reports or Settings.

  • Can't press play/stop in blocked rooms.

Appropriate for general staff who need core functionality.

🧹 Senior Housekeeper

  • Has access to:

    • Housekeeping overview

    • Taskboard

    • Issues

    • My Tasks

    • Camera

    • Clean and Out of Service status

  • Does not have access to Settings or Reports.

  • Cannot assign tasks.

  • Cannot complete room inspections by pressing "stop".

  • Can't press play/stop in blocked rooms.

Useful for housekeepers who also need an overview of all units in the property.

🧽 Housekeeper

  • Has access to:

    • Taskboard

    • Issues

    • My Tasks

    • Camera

  • Does not have access to Settings, Reports, or the Housekeeping overview.

  • Cannot assign tasks.

  • Cannot complete room inspections by pressing "stop".

  • Can't mark a room as Clean or Out of Service manually.

  • Can't press play/stop in blocked rooms.

Perfect for cleaning staff focused only on their assigned duties.
