⚙️ Accessing the Setup Page
1. Go to the Settings section in the Sweeply sidebar.
2. Select Account.
3. Navigate to the Guest Page tab at the top of the screen.
Here, you’ll find the configuration options for enabling guest service requests and maintenance reports. Please note that you must contact support@getsweeply.com to enable this option.
🧹 Enable Guest Service Requests
This section lets you define what types of services guests can request through their Guest Page.
Steps:
1. Tick the checkbox “Enable guest service requests.”
2. Under Choose input type, select the format guests will use to submit their requests — typically an Option list or Free text field.
3. Add specific request options (e.g. Fresh towels, New slippers).
4. Select the categories that should automatically be assigned to these requests - in this example, we'll choose sub-category "housekeeping" from the "HSK" category
• Example: housekeeping, inventory, lost&found.
📝 Once enabled, guests will be able to submit requests directly through the Guest Page, and Sweeply will automatically create a task with a sub-category that will send out the notification for the person who is subscribed to it.
🔧 Enable Guest Maintenance Reporting
This section allows guests to report issues in their room (e.g. broken light, leaking tap) via the same Guest Page.
Steps:
1. Tick the checkbox “Enable guest maintenance reporting.”
2. As with service requests, you can predefine which categories these issues will be assigned to.
• Example categories: maintenance, AC Issue, Pipes Issue, Light Issue.
🛠️ When a guest reports an issue, Sweeply automatically creates an entry in the Issues tab and assigns it to the relevant category or team.
⚙️ Special Modifications (Optional)
In addition to the standard setup, Sweeply offers several customization options for Guest Connect.
Custom Descriptive Text
We can add a custom text block to the Guest Page — for example, a welcome message or specific housekeeping instructions — provided by the hotel.
Cleaning Schedule Visibility
We can modify the Guest Connect behavior so that guests can view their cleaning schedule without being able to modify it. This is useful if you want to display the plan for transparency while keeping full control over changes.
Cutoff Time
A cutoff time can also be configured. This prevents guests from modifying the cleaning schedule after a specific hour each day (for example, after 10:00 AM).
If you’d like any of these custom modifications enabled or if you require a modification that's not listed above, please contact our support team at support@getsweeply.com.
