If no cleaning rule applies to the rooms, the Sweeply mobile app now asks staff to choose a cleaning rule.
If a rule is already active for the room, you won't be prompted — the action continues as usual.
When will you be asked to select a rule?
The rule picker appears on mobile, but only when the room has no active rule yet and cleaner taps Start on the timer.
How to select a rule
Press Start on the cleaning timer.
The Select rule screen opens with the message: "A new task is about to be created. Please select a reason for the task creation."
Find the rule you need. Use the Search rules box to filter the list if it's long.
Tap the rule to select it.
Tap Continue.
