This version includes a new module for managing the cleaning status of any area. With the app, a housekeeper checks-in into an area and reports the status of cleaning. Managers can now get an overview of the status in all rooms and see which housekeeper is working in the room, with the

Housekeeping dashboard. Cleaning statuses are also updated in the underlying PMS system. New features in version #0.55 are listed below.

Mobile App

1. Check-in for cleaning: As housekeeper, press the area button, search for an area and then press the area you want to clean. Now a Start cleaning button will show up and when pressed it will change the cleaning status to "preparing". When you are finished cleaning press the Done cleaning button. Others will see the cleaning status change every time you press the buttons.

2. View and change cleaning status: As manager, press the area button and see a color-coded cleaning status for all areas. Press color-coded circles and change the status of areas. Available statuses are "unclean", "preparing", "clean", "do not disturb" and "no services".

3. Camera check-in: The simplest way to check in! As a housekeeper, hold the area button until you see a yellow banner and some stars in the middle of the camera. This means camera scanning is active and the camera will pick up all words it finds and try to match them with room numbers or names of your areas. When it finds a match, a list of areas will show up and you can select an area to check-in to.

4. Area management: As admin, you can now create, change and delete areas in the app. You can also decide, on which areas you want to manage the cleaning status.

5. User management: As admin, you can now create, change and delete users in the app. You can also decide which users should have admin privileges and toggle the, seldom needed but yet important, Android Image Fix button.

6. Settings view: In your 'My tasks' view you will now find a new settings button which gives you accesss to the new settings view. There you can change users, areas, etc.

7. Simpler issue: Issues now have just one issue type instead of six, so issue type buttons in a) the camera, b) the issue list and c) when viewing a single issue have been removed. Removed is the status button as well, so now the issue list shows only open issues.

8. Important issues counter: The important filter now has a counter which tells you how many open issues list.
